Lunchtime Talk – M&S During WW2: in the Air, on the Frontline & on the Home Front
Tuesday 7 August
A celebration of M&S’s historic links with the RAF, as it celebrates its centenary, and an introduction to what the Second World War meant for M&S, our customers, colleagues and our wider communities. Drawing on the archive collection, we investigate how the business and store life adapted throughout the challenges of wartime, and uncover the inspiring and moving stories of M&S colleagues. Includes the opportunity to view our special exhibition ‘Marking RAF100: M&S and the Royal Air Force in WWII’, which is inspired by the shared histories between M&S and the RAF and features some special, never before seen items from the war.
Booking essential, visit Eventbrite to reserve your free place. Light refreshments included.
