Keep Calm and Go To M&S

On Saturday the Archive was transformed by a celebration of all things Forties!

Swing Dance Leeds provided some fantastic Lindy Hop demonstrations and lessons, and our Company Archivist Katharine Carter had audiences enthralled with her talks about M&S and the War Effort. We were delighted to welcome The Andersons, who brought the 1940s to life with their fabulous period outfits, and it was really exciting to see so many people engrossed in our 1940s clothing collection.

In fact, the day was such a success that we're already planning a 1950s day for later in the year. If you'd like to be added to our mailing list and stay up to date with our events, simply contact us at companyarchive@marksandspencer.com with your name and email details.
